New Castle Location

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

For over 100 years, Gebhart Funeral Home in New Castle has proudly served our community in their time of need. We truly appreciated your support and confidence in our abilities. Throughout the decades, we’ve also been privileged to assist the town’s residents on community events, celebrations, parades and various committees. We have taken enormous pride in our opportunities to be a part of such important endeavors.

It is with mixed emotion that we inform you that on September 30, 2021, the funeral home building in New Castle will no longer be available for services. All of our existing preneed funeral plan documents will be relocated to our funeral home in Claymont. We want to assure you that our staff is still ready to serve you with our continued compassion, dedication and professionalism. We have contacted most of the area churches who have graciously invited us to hold funeral services in their facility.
