Barbara Lee Parkinson

Barbara Lee Parkinson, age 60, went home to be with our Lord April 21, 2017, after a short illness.

Barbara attended Charles W. Bush School. She enjoyed life, she loved music and animals and especially going out to eat. She is survived by her mother, Bennetta Parkinson; her sister, Bonnie (Harry) Marcus; aunt and uncle, Jack (Cathy) Parkinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Parkinson; her sister, Beverly Dougherty; her aunts and uncles, Grace (Arthur) Gualtieri, Joseph (Elfie) Parkinson; and grandparents, Alex and Louise Parkinson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11 am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Friends and family my gather for the viewing hour at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord Baptist Church, 2510 Marsh Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
