Donald Thomas Phillips

Donald Thomas Phillips, age 75, of New Castle, DE passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Phillips went to Highland School in Wilmington, DE. He was an overhead crane operator at Phoenix Steel and Citi Steel.

Donald liked to work on his antique cars and played his guitars and jukebox records. His passion for music was evident throughout his life; his favorite musician was Hank William, Sr. 

Mr. Phillips was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Phillips; two brothers, Buddy Phillips, Charles Phillips; and his sister, Doris Capps of Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Phillips of 56 years; his son, Frazier T. Phillips; and five grandchildren, Frazier Jr., Greg, Amber, Aubrey and Isabella.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11 am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720. The Visitation hour will begin at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial service will immediately follow the service at Gracelawn Memorial Park.
