Please know you all are in my thoughts today. Junior will always be my brother - distance, difference and choices will never change our bond. All he ever wanted was to be loved and many failed him. I wish those that may judge him for his short comings could know the little boy that hid under a bed with me, who ate little subs at the 3rd street bridge with me, who covered me in the back of a car so I wouldn't be hurt,. The little boy who peeked through a mail opening calling "Aunt Louise" are you in there. Imagine being left by everyone in a children's home at the age of four. And though they abandoned him many times - later in years he would beg me to visit a father dying that never cared, to visit a mother who was less then perfect as a parent. Even still he would defend them, holding onto the thought that they loved him. He only wanted to be loved but never understood. The little boy will always be a part of me. I lost him years ago but today I will cherish the memories and wish him be peace.
