Mary Elease Cope

Mary Elease (Mahek) Cope, 33, of Claymont, passed away on November 25, 2009 at home.
Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of John and Lynn (Talley) Mahek. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hall-Burke VFW and a 1994 graduate of Christiana High School.
In addition to her parents, Mary is survived by the light of her life, her son Nathan Edward Cope; siblings: Katherine Brown and her husband Alan, John Mahek, Jr. and his fiancAC.e Christie Riale, Adam Joseph Mahek, Sr.; beloved niece Brittney Mahek; cherished nephews: Tanner Mahek and Adam Mahek, Jr. and step grandmother Ruth Talley. She was preceded in death by her son Stephen James Cope, Jr.; paternal grandparents: Joe and Vi Mahek; maternal grandparents: Bill Talley and Barb and Hal Hulka.
