Thomas W. Sargent

Thomas W. Sargent, 62, of Wilmington, passed away on November 4, 2009. He was the husband of the late: Angela LaRagione Sargent.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late: James and Margaret Albert Sargent. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He was retired from Verizon and operated his own accounting business out of his home. He was a beloved father and enjoyed spending time at his home in Florida.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law: Bryan and Kara Sargent; his sister and brother in law: Jeanette and Frank Kelly; brothers:James, Harry and Billy Sargent; 23 nieces and nephews. He is also survived by close family friends, the Boccelli family, including companion Josephine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., Wilmington DE 19810 where the family will receive guests starting at 10:30 a.m. interment will be at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Heart Assoc., 200 Continental Dr., Ste. 101, Newark DE 19713 or American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, New Castle DE 19720.
