Verna Polly Cole

Verna Polly Cole, 70, of New Castle, passed away on November 28, 2009 at Heartland Hospice House. She was the wife of the late: Edward E. Cole who passed away on 2001.

Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late: Robert T. and Ruth J. Kessler Baldwin. She was retired from Cigna where she worked as an Insurance Adjustor. She was a member of the New Castle Moose # 1578, enjoyed reading and dancing, spending time in Tempe AZ and she loved cats.

She is survived by her sons: Edward P. Porter, Robert T. Andrews (Katrina D.) and Michael J. Starkey (Tara C.); grandchildren: Paul Wysoczinski, Sharon Andrews, Robert T. E. Andrews, Marckus Outten, Willow Andrews and Kyle D. Starkey; great grandchild: Carson Blevins; sisters: Ruth Springer (Jack), Roberta Walsh (Tom) and Virginia Shoemaker (Keith).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware St. Olde New Castle DE 19720.
