Cheryl Ann Kelly

Cheryl Ann Kelly passed away at home in Claymont, DE on November 4, 2018. 

Cheryl was very involved in the Delaware Fire Service, including the Claymont Fire Company, the New Castle County Fire Police and Delaware State Fire Police Association.

Cheryl joined the Fire Company in March of 1979 and received Life Active status during the Annual Banquet in January of 2016.   She served as Fire Police, along with various executive offices including Director and was the Recording Secretary at the time of her passing.

Cheryl  was very active with both the Fire Police Associations of New Castle County and the State of Delaware.  She was a Past President and Secretary of the New Castle County Fire Police Association and the immediate Past President of the Delaware State Fire Police Association (2017-2018).

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Melvin Kelly and Dorothy Ruth Kelly.  She is survived by a brother and sister, William Kelly of Hartly, DE and Nancy Maynard of Wallingford, CT.

Cheryl requested there be no funeral services, but donations in her memory can be made to the Claymont Fire Company, 3223 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
