D. Jane Huff

D. Jane Huff, age 79, formerly of New Castle, DE passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018.

A native Delawarean, Jane was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Roy and Ann Larrimore and Jesse Walling. To all that knew her, Jane was a homemaker, a loving mother, avid camper, and a kick-a** shuffleboard player. She was the road trip partner to our late Pop, Del Huff and lived life to the fullest. We recommend you do the same.

Jane is survived by her daughters; Dea (Strawbridge) Taylor, Betty (Strawbridge) Watts, and son David Strawbridge and his wife Claudine, grandchildren; Garrett Taylor and Lorin Strawbridge. She was also blessed to have her best friend and brother-in-law, Uncle Franny Weaver, many nieces, nephews and friends and her side-kick, Jack.

A Viewing will be held at Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware Street, Old New Castle, DE 19720 on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 10AM to 11AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Glebe Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, our family wants you to hug a nurse, a doctor, a caregiver (CNA), or a first responder. We are forever grateful for their help and compassion during these difficult times.
