Edith N. Wandolowski

Edith N. Wandolowski, age 75, of Claymont, DE, died on August 10, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.

Edith graduated from Wilmington High School.  She retired as a Cashier and a Waitress.  Edith was a member of A.S.P.C.A.  She loved her family, loved the Casino’s, and animals.  Edith was a very kind - hearted person, who loved everyone. She had a very special bond with her sister, they are now reunited together in heaven.

Edith was predeceased by her father, Frank Elsasser, her mother, Alice (Eastland) Elsasser and her sister, Joan Elsasser. Edith is survived by her daughter, Alice Carliss, her son in law, Ernie Carliss, her grandson, Devon Carliss, her granddaughter, Sara Carliss, all of Claymont, DE; her nieces, Sandy Elsasser of Claymont, DE and Judy Aloia of New Jersey; her brother, Ernie Elsasser of Georgetown, DE; and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., where a Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.
