Helen was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Marsden Stambaugh, of New Castle, Delaware; her father and mother, Oscar and Vivian Seymour of Beckley, West Virginia; and her brother, Arthur Seymour, of Charleston, West Virginia.

She is survived by her brother and his wife, Glenn and Liz Seymour of Ripley, West Virginia; her sister, Dawn Rice, of Meridian, Mississippi; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Seymour, of Charleston, West Virginia.  She was a special aunt to 12 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews, and 21 great-great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the New Castle United Methodist Church, 510 Delaware St., New Castle, DE, where friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
