Joan Carolyn Cake

Joan C. Cake, 80, of Bear, DE passed away at the Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Francis Hospital on November 23, 2017.

Joan was a graduate of Conrad High School. She worked as a cashier for A&P and Super Fresh. Joan enjoyed traveling, playing cards, cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Cheri Lawruk and son-in-law, Daniel Lawruk of Bear; daughter-in-law, Anne Cake of Wilmington. Joan has 2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 9 great grandchildren.  She was sadly predeceased by her sons, Richard E. Cake and Wayne J. Cake.
