John R. Szczepanowski

John R. Szczepanowski, age 62, of Claymont, DE passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018.

John was the son of the late Richard and Rita (Rapposelli) Szczepanowski.  He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School, Class of 1974.   John worked for Spence Security and Bell Supply Company.

John is survived by his wife, Viola; siblings, Christina of FL, Richard of MD and Diana C. (Matthew) of Lancaster, PA; daughter, Theresa of FL; son, John Jr. of IN; stepdaughter, Stephanie of Claymont, DE; 3 grandchildren, Ali’cya, Taylor, Jonathan; 2 great grandsons, Lorenzo and Theo; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday morning beginning at 10am.  Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
