John T. "Jack" Farren Obituary

John T. “Jack” Farren , age 71, of Newark, DE passed away on July 5, 2018, at home.

Jack was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Bernard and Virginia Farren. A veteran of the US Army, Jack proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Jack was retired from Norfolk Southern as a Conductor.

Jack is survived by his sister, Lee Kennedy (Bob); niece, Jill Kennedy (Rene’); nephew, Todd Kennedy (Janet); great-nephew, Ron Teague; great-nieces, Sharon Austin (Tony), Rebecca Paoletti, Sara Kennedy and Taylor Kennedy; and a great-great nephew, Ryan James Austin; and many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred and brother, Bernard Farren.

Funeral services will be private with burial in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
