Johnna L. Emmett

Johnna L Emmett, age 55, of Claymont DE passed away on May 27, 2019 in Newark, DE.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Jackowski, grandson, Aiden and granddaughter, Lillian; as well as her brothers, Rick Emmett (Lisa Emmett), Glenn Emmett and Sam Emmett; and good friends, Paul McNulty (Lisa). Johnna was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Emmett; mother, Phyllis Emmett; and sister, Diana Garity. 

Johnna was at her happiest when she was with her grandchildren. She had a big heart with a tremendous amount of love for all animals, especially her cats and ducks. During Johnna’s free time she enjoyed going for rides on her Harley Davidson and swimming in her pool. It didn’t take much to put a smile on Johnna’s beautiful face.

Visitation for her beloved family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a Memorial Service will follow at 7pm.  Burial will be private.
