Joyce M Spitz

Joyce Mae Spitz, age 76, of Claymont, DE passed away at home, May 22, 2019.

Joyce was born in Graysonville, MD., daughter of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth (Strannahan) Jones. She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore, MD in 1960. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John E. Spitz of Claymont DE; sons, Stephen Spitz of Wilmington, DE, John R. Spitz of Milford, DE; grandchildren, Dominic Spitz of Wilmington, DE, Samantha Spitz of Millsboro, DE and Erik Spitz of Forth Worth, TX; great grandchildren, Larry R. Hutt III of Wilmington, DE, Hayden Vickers and Andrew Vickers, Jr. of Millsboro, DE; and long time best friend, Jerry Ann Greenwald.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Delaware Hospice for their care and compassion.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
