Kenneth Robert Robinson

Kenneth R. Robinson, age 67, of Wilmington, DE passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, after a long illness. He was born on June 6, 1950.

Ken was a graduate of Claymont High School.  He served his country in two separate enlistments in the US Navy – USS Independence (CV-62).  Ken was retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Barbara Robinson; his father-in-law, Elmer Krauss; and his niece, Tracy Holden.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughters, Jill Robinson Sullivan (Dan), Jeanette Hunter (Jermaine), Jennifer Brokus (Bob) his two stepsons, John Lloyd, Joe Robinson (Julie); his sister, Karen Guagent (Jerry); niece Barbie Holden (Don); his mother-in-law, Gladys Krauss; and 16 grandchildren.

Ken was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed camping with family and longtime friend, Bob Teller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.  Friends may visit with the family Monday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.  Burial will be private.
