Patricia J. Elwood Obituary

Patricia “Pat” Jane Neary Elwood, age 79, passed away in her home while in Hospice Care and her son, Michael J. Elwood by her side on Monday, September 17, 2018.

Patricia was born in Wilmington, DE and resided in Claymont, DE. She worked at KT&D Inc. Insurance in Wilmington, DE as a bookkeeper until her retirement.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Ann Klosiewicz; 2 sons, Michael J. Elwood (daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Weaver), Patrick Elwood (wife, Denise Elwood); 3 grandchildren, Emily Rachael Elwood, Maegan Rose Elwood, Patrick Ryan Elwood; 2 great-grandchildren, Emiliannah Rose Elwood and Cole Elwood McClain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe and her sister, Peggy Donnelly.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a Viewing, Monday, September 24, 2018 from10am to 11am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11am. Burial will be private.
