Carolann Nice Obituary
Carolann Nice, age 64, of Newark, DE, formerly of Claymont, DE passed away October 7, 2020.
Carolann graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. She attended the Community Interaction Program, where she participated in several programs including Meals on Wheels and delivering produce in the community, which she really enjoyed. Carolann also participated in the Special Olympic Bowling and would play Bocce. She also attended the Disability Ball each year.
Carolann is predeceased by her mother, Mary Nice; her father, William Nice; and her sister, Marlene McDermott. She is survived by her sister, Linda Bennett and her husband, Albert Bennett; brother, Mike Nice and his wife, Claudia; sister, Darlene Fabrega; brother in law, Mark McDermott; nieces, Dana Finegan, Dawn Iobst; nephews, Sean Rispoli, Tony Fabrega, Patrick Nice, Joel and Joe McDermott.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to the staff at Bancroft for taking care of our sister, and the staff and Community Interaction for working with Carolann.
A Celebration of Carolann’s Life will be held at a later time.
