Catherine A. Grieco (Martin),  age 43, of Claymont, DE died suddenly at home on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

Cathy attended Holy Rosary Elementary School in Claymont and  Brandywine and Christiana High Schools.  She obtained her GED and went on to complete studies in CNA, medical billing and phlebotomy. She always enjoyed helping others. She loved her pets and enjoyed meeting new people and horseback riding.

Cathy is survived by her daughter, Brittany Grieco; her grandson, Zachary; her mother, Catherine Grieco of Claymont; many aunts and uncles, Joseph Grieco (Anna) of Willmington, Nancy Sederquest (Steve) of Hockessin, Dave Grieco (Marianne) of Wilmington, Janet Joyner (Duke) of Claymont, Susan Crisp (Keith) of Landenberg, PA, Judy McLellan (Mark) of Middletown, Mark Grieco (Dawn) of West Chester, PA; cousins, Michelle, Chrissy, Robert, Alex, David, Cassandra, Robyn, Eric, Brandon, Zachary, Sydney and Ryan.  She is also survived by her husband, Kenneth Martin of Wilmington.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at 12 noon on Saturday, January 18, 2020  at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11am to 12pm.   Interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Claymont Fire Company, 3223 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703.
