Colin P. Kelly

Colin P. Kelly, age 78, of Wilmington, DE passed away at home, December 21, 2020.

Colin was the son of the late Mary Zickgraf and Emmett Kelly. The youngest of five children, he was predeceased by his brothers, Jack Kelly, Emmett Kelly, Janice Dominick and Kathleen Kelly,  all who were born and raised in New Castle, DE.

Colin graduated from Salesianum High School in Wilmington, DE, where he then enlisted in the National Guard. Afterward, he opened up his very own sub shop in the heart of the city. He later retired from managing Grisilos Thriftway in 2004. Colin took a rare interest in coins and spent most of his time doing puzzles with his grandchildren. He loved playing and winning at cards. Colin was a very kind, funny, loving, passionate and caring man. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Colin is survived by his daughter, Michelle Garcia, grandchildren, Dominique Garcia, Selena Garcia, most importantly, Bryanna Harrison, one great granddaughter, Avani Escobales;  his son, Brian Kelly of Wilmington, DE; his daughter, Denise Cebenka of Wilmington, DE and grandson, Darryl Cebenka.
