Edith M. Fausnaugh passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026 in Hospice at Christiana Hospital.  She was 79 years old and resided in Bear, Delaware.  She lived a happy, fulfilled life who was loved by everyone. She went to William Penn High School, was a licensed hair dresser/barber, a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, loved watching the birds every morning and coloring on her IPAD.  She loved traveling to the cabin in the mountains with her husband, as well as traveling to Pow-Wows

and participated in the dancing circle, and hand made her regalia clothing. She enjoyed painting and watching Bob Ross videos daily for inspiration.

She loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow, learn and laugh.  She was always there when we needed anything.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sherri DeVincentis and Connie Reynolds, her two son in laws, Charles “Choo” Reynolds and Joseph DeVincentis, three granddaughters, Danielle Reynolds (Joey Bogia), Amber Eckeard (Marc Perez), and Allyson Reynolds.  Three great grandchildren, Jordan Reynolds, Londyn and Layla Reynolds. Two sisters Linda Griffith and Bonnie Jester as well as several loving nieces and nephews, best friends and close friends from many years ago.

She is predeceased by her loving husband George Fausnaugh, her mother Edith Jester, brother John B. Turner, and sister Billie Jester.

Services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Gebhart Funeral Home located at 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. A viewing, will be from 10:30am until11:30am services starting at 11:30am.  Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Parkway, New Castle, DE 19720.
