Edith Grace Bell Obituary

Edith Grace Bell, age 85 of Upland, Pennsylvania died peacefully on April 23, 2020 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. 

Born in Upland, PA, Edith was the daughter of the late Paul O. Simmons, Sr. and Florence (Bailey) Simmons.  She was a resident of Upland for more than 50 years.  She previously worked at Upland Industries and Orb industries in Upland, PA.  After that she was a homemaker for her husband and family.

She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her family.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who was very family oriented.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles William Bell, her brother, Paul Simmons, Jr.  and her sister, Doris Reczek.  She is survived by her three children, Robert Simmons, Charlene M. Bell and Linda A. Ferguson (Mike); three grandchildren, Reginald V. May (Dottie), Marie L. May and Christine M. Brady; two great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Tomasa Simmons and various nieces and nephews.

Due to the coronavirus, there will be no services at this time.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  If anyone would like to make a donation, please make it to the charity of your choice.
