We regret to share that Faith Kay (Beck) Moyer passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2026 in her room at Sunrise Senior Living in Wilmington, Delaware at the age of 87.  She lived a life full of steadfast love, family, friendship and caring for everyone around her. 

She is survived by her loving sons David McCracken (Myra), Robert McCracken (Denise), stepson John L McCracken Jr (Nancy), stepdaughter Kathleen DiLorio (Joe), grandchildren Melinda Herr (Kenneth), Kimberly Miller (David), Michael McCracken, Jennifer Leigh (Zachary), Tammy McCracken, Deacon McCracken, and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Paul Moyer, son Robert Lee Rice and parents Wilbur George Beck and Margaret Ruth Beck.

Faith was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and during her teen years, moved with her parents to Media, Pennsylvania.  After marriage, she lived in Claymont, Delaware and then Wilmington, Delaware.  As a working mother, she held various jobs in her long lifetime, including working for American Viscose in the 1950’s and 60’s, as a school crossing guard and a proof clerk at Wilmington Savings Fund Society in the ‘70s, and then for her son David at his automotive business from the 1980’s until she retired.

Throughout her life, her dedication to the Lutheran Church, and all its ministries including education, youth, music and community service, was paramount to her.

She leaves a legacy of faith, love, happiness and relentless optimism that was truly universal to all who knew her.  She will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1530 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE 19803, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, where a service will then begin at 11:00 am.  Burial will be at Media Cemetery in Media, PA after a short luncheon at the church.

Flowers can be sent to the church, or a charitable donation in Faith’s name can be made to Faithful Friends at 165 Airport Road in New Castle, DE 19720.
