Frances M. Robinson, age 94, passed away at home on December 2, 2023 surrounded by family.

Frances devoted most of her life to raising her five children.  When she lost her husband at a young age she joined a Senior Center and took many trips with them.  As she aged, she enjoyed spending time at home and with her family.  She also enjoyed playing games on her phone and watching game shows at night.

Frances was predeceased by her husband, Richard J.Robinson, and grandchildren, Lisa J. and Phillip D. “Pip” Bottenfield.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Moffe, Jr. (“Flossy”) of Elmira, NY and her five children, Linda S. Bottenfield (Phillip) of Hollidaysburg, PA, David C. Robinson (Stephanie) of Wilmington, DE, Carol J. Booth of Hollidaysburg, PA, Janet M. Barrowclough (Willard) of Wilmington, DE and James L. Robinson of Wilmington, DE.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Cheri Bottenfield, Brian Robinson (Joanne), Tracey Ginn (Chris), Matthew Robinson (Maria), Bobby Lynch (Shannon), Alexandra Robinson, and Courtney Booth; 8 great-grandchildren, Tyler, J.D., Melanie, Benjamin, Brady, Sydney, Allie and Theo; and a close family friend, Jeffrey Palmer.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11am to 1pm on Friday, December 8, 2023 with a funeral service at 1pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE.  Immediately following, burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Frances to Brandywine Valley SPCA.
