George T. Kelly, age 79, formally of Claymont Delaware and Sewell NJ, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He attended Milton Hershey school for his entire education, class of 63. He went on to serve in the Navy for 4 years. After the Navy he worked for Boeing, Sun Ship, Penn Ship and Amtrak.

George was preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings: Bill, Wanita, Bob, Jim, Dorris, Jack, Danny, Timmy, Tom, Sandy, Quaquo, Ralph.

He is survived by his son: Matt Kelly (Benilda), grandchildren: Matthew and Lindsey, great-grandchild: Joy, and his dog Zoey and his cat Chloe.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1-2:00 pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Gebhart Funeral Home. Interment will take place on March 4, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
