George Heath Miller Obituary
George Heath Miller, age 84, of Claymont, DE passed away Sunday, February 18, 2023 at Accent Care Hospice, Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
George was born in West Chester, PA, the son of the late George D. and Zilla (Heath) Miller. He worked on the assembly line at GM, Boxwood Road Plant in DE. He enjoyed 30 years of employment with GM, where he retired in 1994.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Franklin Miller, who passed away October 18, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Louise Miller; grandson, Matthew Julian Miller; granddaughter, Makayla Ann Miller; daughter-in-law, Kristina Lynn Miller; Kristina and Jeffrey’s children, Gina M. Wilson, Kristopher J. Wilson and his wife, Cora Wilson.
A viewing will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 10am to 11am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a funeral service will begin at 11am. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720.
