Gloria T. Sapp Obituary
Gloria T. Sapp, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021. She was born in Mount Carmel, PA and moved to Wilmington with her family when she was 15.
Gloria graduated from Wilmington High School. She then spent 34 years employed in banking, first at Discount and Credit, then at WSFS Bank until her retirement in 1985. During her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Gloria was a Girl Scout leader for many years and also volunteered as an usher at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington. In her spare time, Gloria enjoyed reading and doing puzzles of all kinds, particularly jigsaw puzzles.
Gloria will be missed by her daughter, Monica Hayes and her husband, Jack; her grandson, John Hayes and his wife, Autumn; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Scott and her husband, Greg; her great granddaughters, Lainey, Maggie and Josie.
Service and burial will be private.
