Harry J. White

Harry J. White, age 89, of Claymont, DE passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Harry was born to Russell and Sarah White.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served during the Korean War.  He retired from the Brandywine School District in 1995, where he worked in the Maintenance Shop.  Harry enjoyed his favorite baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies.  He was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and volunteered for many different activities at the church.  Harry enjoyed spending time with his many cats over the years.

Harry is predeceased by his wife, Mildred, who died in 1988, his parents, and his sister, Jane Horn.  He is survived by his sister, Phyllis White Pini, of Claymont, DE.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, from 10:00am until 11:00am.  Where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am.  Interment will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
