James Michael MacNamara Obituary
James Michael MacNamara, age 78, of Claymont, DE passed away peacefully February 1, 2025 with his loving wife, Jill and son, Joseph by his bedside.
Jim’s deep faith in the Lord helped carry him through his short but courageous battle with cancer. He had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need. Jim was well liked by all.
In addition to his wife, Jill, of 41 years and his son, Joseph, with whom he lived, Jim is survived by his three daughters, Angela, Heather (Jared), Alisa (Tim); son, Daniel (Paula); close friend, Marie who was like a daughter to him. He was predeceased by his sons, Jimmy and Thomas. Jim leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family requests privacy during this very difficult time. Services and burial will be private.
