Joseph Anthony Francis Domarotsky Obituary

Joseph “Joe” Domarotsky, age 77, of Claymont, DE, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born in 1948, in Philadelphia, PA, and was a treasured partner, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.


Joe proudly served in the United States military and will receive an honorable burial at Sarasota National Cemetery in Southwest Florida.


Joe loved to cook, always enjoyed making people laugh, and was a loving cat dad to his cherished companions, Neko and Nekita. 


Joe is survived by his devoted long-time partner, Ruth Kempf of Claymont, DE; his daughter, Bonnie Raso and her husband Vince of Fort Myers, FL; his two grandsons, Brad Pollock and Cody Pollock and his wife Vanessa, as well as their children, Thomas and Naomi (Joe’s great-grandchildren), all of Iowa; and his brother, William Domarotsky and his wife Beverly of Kent, WA.  He is also survived by many relatives—cousins, nieces, nephews—and numerous friends who will cherish his memory with respect and fondness.


A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
