Obituary
Joseph A. Ciocco, age 73, of Claymont, DE, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, died August 24, 2023.
Joseph graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys and attended Community College in Delaware County, PA. He worked at Evergreen Aviation and the Navy Yard. He served in the Army as a Specialist 4 during the Viet Nam War.
Joseph is survived by his wife, JoAnn; brother, Dennis {Bonnie}; stepchildren, Daniel Checchio {Geannine}, Stephen Checchio {Jolese}, Suzanne Chima {Anthony}; and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph and his grandson, Daniel.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 10am to 11am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a Memorial Service will begin at 11am, with prayers to follow. Burial will be private.
