Kathryn J. Krieger, age 45, of Dover, DE, formerly of Smyrna, DE, died on Friday, November 29, 2024, in Kent General Hospital.

Kathryn was a Graduate Del Castle High School class of 1997.  She also graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College, Beebe Nursing School, the University of Delaware, and Wilmington College.  She obtained her RN-MSN Degree with an online college and was working toward her Doctorate Degree. She worked in daycare settings at Providence Creek Charter School.  Kathryn also worked at Bay Health Hospital, Christiana Hospital, and Medical Depend Daycares. Kathryn was predeceased by her mother, Jane G. Krieger, who died in 2016.  

She is survived by her father, Edward O. Krieger, of Dover, DE, her brother, Joseph E. Krieger and his wife, Samantha, of Smyrna, DE, and her nephews, Carter and Bradley Krieger, of Smyrna, DE.

A viewing will be held at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:30am, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30am.  Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Parkway, New Castle, DE 19720. Please join the family for a luncheon after the burial at the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company, 1006 Brandywine Blvd. Wilmington, DE 19809.
