With great sadness we announce the passing of Lillian Elizabeth Williams.  Lillian entered into the arms of the lord on October 22, 2024, after a lengthy illness.  Lillian’s strength, kind heart and love for her family are a testament of a life well lived.

Born in Kittrell, NC to the late Thomas Edwin and Lorene Peace.  Lillian was the wife of the late Harold W. Oswell Williams.  She is also predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Peace, Jr., and Alwin Peace.  She is survived by her sister, Geraldine McKnight and sister-in-law, Clara Peace.

Lillian was employed at ICI for many years until her retirement.  She had a love for plants, horticulture, and her favorite sports teams were the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies.
Lillian was a loving mother, and is survived by her children, Carlton Peace, Jackie Conkling, Tony Conkling, and her stepchildren, Sabrina Oswell Ferguson, Norman Oswell, Darryl Oswell, Mia Williams-Davis and Monique Williams.  Lillian also leaves behind 5 much loved grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, several cousins, and extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Lillian’s life and spirit will be held at a later date.
