Raymond L. Harriman III Obituary
Raymond Leroy Harriman lll, age 85, of New Castle, DE formerly of Wilmington, DE was called to heaven on Monday, January 15, 2024 at home.
Ray attended P.S. Dupont High School and then went onto the University of Delaware. He was a senior analytical chemist at Dupont experimental station for many years. Ray joined the U.S. Navy in 1962 where he served a 4 year term and it was at this time he met his partner Kenneth Brownson whom he married in 2015.
Raymond was predeceased by Kenneth as of 2022.
Surviving family members include a sister-in-law, cousins, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Lombardy Cemetery, 1611 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803.
