Richard Green Obituary

Richard M. Green passed away at his residence in Media, PA on October 17, 2023. He was the son of the late Arthur A. and Mary Degnan Green at his passing, he was 76.

Richard was an athlete and avid sports fan. He ran the mile at track meets in high school and at LaSalle University from which he graduated in 1970 with a BS in accounting. He liked most sports of which he was an encyclopedia of facts and statistics. He continued his love of running with state, regional and senior track meets.

Another one of Richard’s loves was acting. He appeared in many plays at Hedgerow Theater. He was a stand-in and extra in All My Children and Saturday Night Live. Richard had a great sense of humor and did stand-up comedy.

He is survived by his brothers, Arthur B. Green of North Miami, FL, William D. Green of Claymont, DE; and a sister, Maryellen Green of Claymont, DE.

A memorial will be held in the future. Burial will be private.
