Richard Lawton McCracken, Jr. passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 55.

He was a loving husband, amazing father, a caring son and brother. He was a true friend to anyone lucky enough to meet him. Rich, as people knew him, was charismatic and very intelligent with a boisterous laugh and the answers to an alarming amount of jeopardy questions. He wasn’t a teacher by trade, but he taught people so many things, mostly how to love and be loved.

Rich is survived by his wife of 34 years: Susan; children: Sean and Hailey (Ryan); mother: Jeannette; and brother: Andrew.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 10-11:00 am at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. A Celebration of his life will follow at 11:00 am.
