Robert David Simmons, age 68, of New Castle, DE passed away July 5, 2023, after a long illness.
Robert was born in Chester, PA, and grew up in Upland, PA where he graduated from Collingdale High School. Robert lived in New Castle, DE with his beloved dog Cassie where he enjoyed reading, gardening, watching movies, and tinkering with computers. He loved his country, photography, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and going on walks with his faithful companion, Cassie.
Robert was predeceased by his mother Edith Bell and stepfather Charles Bell of Upland, PA. Robert is survived by his sister Charlene Bell of Upland, PA, and sister Linda Ferguson and her husband Michael of Hockessin, DE, one nephew, two nieces, and two great nieces.
No services, however, in lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to one of the following organizations in his honor: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Humane Animal Partners Delaware.
