Obituary

Robert A. Jordan, age 79, of Claymont, DE passed away peacefully at Kindred Hospital, Philadelphia, PA on June 13, 2021.

Born in 1941, Robert was the son of the late Francis A. and Anne Jordan.  He graduated from Claymont High School and served in the US Army 1963-1965 (Viet Nam Era).  Robert was self employed as a TV/Radio Repairman and retired from the University of Delaware Electronics Department.

His beloved wife of 34 years, Carla Jordan predeceased him in 2017.

Robert enjoyed watching his black and white western shows, and always had the Red Badge of Courage on his computer.  He also enjoyed going to the Hall Burke VFW, in his younger days, where his wife also served.  He had a Chevy C10 that he took pride in and he enjoyed the CB.

Robert had a good friend named Chuck, who always contacted him and took care of him.  Robert and his dog named “Button” were Buddies till the end.

Services will be private.  Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.

Memorial contributions in Bobbie’s name may be made to the Wilmington Animal Hospital, 828 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809.
