Ruby M. Blackburn

Ruby M. Blackburn, age 76, of New Castle, DE departed this life on April 29, 2021.

Ruby was a member of Wilmington Manor Lions Club, Howard J. Weston Senior Center and New Castle United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed gospel music, travel, flowers and especially people.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 37 years, L. Wayne Blackburn; her mother, Mary Sinigaglio; and many dear friends.  She was predeceased by her father, Aldino Sinigaglio and her sister, Lena.

A Viewing will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 10am to 11am at New Castle United Methodist Church, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11am. All attending will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing to maintain compliance with State COVID-19 Regulations.  Admittance will be regulated.  Burial will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Castle United Methodist Church, 510 Delaware Street, New Castle, DE 19720; or to Howard J. Weston Senior Center, 1 Bassett Avenue, Manor Park, New Castle, DE 19720.
