Seth Allen Ward

Seth Allen Ward, age 41, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Christiana Hospital. 

Seth was born on November 25, 1980 in Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware to William Ward and Wende L. (Rively).

Seth loved the NY Rangers hockey team and UFC fighting. He loved music, going to concerts and anything to do with music. He also enjoyed horror masks and everything related to horror and Halloween.  He had an entire room in his home dedicated to his expansive mask collection. His absolute passion was spending time with his three year old daughter, Autumn and the love of his life, Kim Carey.  He was an incredible father, son, partner, nephew and cousin.

Seth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolores and Charles Ward and Joan Mess; and his uncle, Tom Ward. He is survived by his father, William Ward; his mother, Wende L. Robertson; his stepmother, Jill A. Ward, his partner, Kimberly Carey and their daughter, Autumn Grace Ward. Seth is also survived by his brother, Derek Pierce (Deanna); sisters, Shannon Allen (Patrick) and Kim Pierce (Kevin Chelf);  aunt, Sharon Ward; uncle, Charles Ward (Hope); aunt, Maryann Holcomb (Don); uncles, George Ward (Liz), Joseph Ward (Trish), Chris Rively; and a multitude of cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE  19703, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
