William G. Thompson Obituary
William G. Thompson, age 79, of Claymont, DE, formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Accent Care Hospice, Wilmington Hospital.
William was the son of the late George M. and Margaret Donaher Thompson. He was a graduate of Jules E. Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia, Class of 1963.
Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War from 1963 to 1967. He worked as an aircraft mechanic at Boeing in Ridley Park, PA. William was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son, William R. Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Thompson; son, Mark Thompson; daughter, Lisamarie Bleattler (Deral); grandchildren, Melissa, William, Sara, Stephen; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
