William R. “Bill” Revero of Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Claymont, DE, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Bill was a painter by day and a musician by night, as an acclaimed drummer and pianist. He played in numerous bands. In his later years, Bill moved to Belize, where he worked as a scuba diver instructor. Bill returned to the states, where he retired to fulfill his passion fishing throughout New Jersey and Delaware.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Reynaldo Revero and Ruth Gabourel, sister, Susan R. Eldridge, brother, Robert S. Revero and son, William R. Revero, Jr. He is survived by sisters, Norma Revero and Pamela (Brian) Keith; brothers, Daniel (Mary Rose) Sherman and David (Theresa) Sherman; and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 11am – 12pm at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, where a Memorial Service will begin at 12pm. Burial will be private.
