William T. Matonis, age 88, died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home in Claymont, DE. 

William was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1950. He joined the Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked at IMS America until retirement.

William is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Pusicz). He was a father to William M., Michael W. (Ashley), Joseph F. Brown (Tammy) and the late Joyce A.; grandfather to Chase J. and Alexis G.; and great-grandfather to Mikayla.

A Funeral Service will be held privately at the Gebhart Funeral Home, Claymont, DE.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
