Chad Ross Carletti, 32, loving son and father, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
Born on May 13, 1986 to Jim and Deborah Carletti, Chad was raised in the small town of Claymont. In 2004, he graduated from Brandywine High School and then joined the United States Army. He proudly served his country for four years, in which he went overseas to Afghanistan and was discharged in 2008. In late 2010, Chad and May started their journey together, through their connection with his longtime friend Serita (May’s sister). It was then on April 12, 2016 they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Cameron James Carletti. Cameron filled Chad’s heart with unconditional love, and the bond they shared meant everything to him.
Chad enjoyed making everyone laugh, his sense of humor was like no other. Starting out as a carpenter, building huts in Afghanistan, to working for several roofing companies, he loved fixing things. He had a passion for music and was interested in watching documentaries and drama/comedy series.
Chad is survived by his parents, Jim and Deb Carletti; brother, Jace Carletti and his wife, Mandi Carletti; mother of son, May Chen; son, Cameron Carletti; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
