Elizabeth Sylwestrzuk Obituary

Elizabeth C. "Betty" Sylwestrzuk, age 87, of Claymont, DE passed away on February 5, 2019 at Manor Care, Foulk Road.

Betty was born in Eden Park, New Castle, DE, the daughter of the late James H. Campbell and Gertrude (Brogan) Campbell. She was a 1949 graduate of Wilmington High School.

Betty worked on the family farm in her youth and at the DuPont Company, Bank Credit Bureau, and Wilmington Trust Co, where she retired in 1996. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James J. Campbell in 2010.

Betty enjoyed sewing and crafts and shopping at Boscov's. She was a loyal Phillies and Eagles fan.

She is survived by her son, Keith E. Sylwestrzuk (Marybeth Farrell) and grandson, K. Colin Sylwestrzuk of Claymont, DE; niece, Sharon Syverson; and nephew, James J. Campbell II.

The family would like to thank the Manor Care staff and Dr. Janney for their compassionate care. Betty made many friends during her stay there.

Services and interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
