His brothers James Legg (Tonya) and James Thorn (Loretta) sisters Sharon Marvel and Angie Orellana (Mario). A very special Uncle, Ernest Bradley (Patsy) who was like a father to him. Aunt, Irma Bryant of Whitakers, NC. Cousins, E. Dave owned Dave's Auto Repair for over 30 years, and his greatest passion was helping all of his customers. He worked hard, laughed easily and had that rare gift of making a repair shop feel like a place you wanted to "hang out". You've heard of a horse whisper, Dave was the car whisper. There wasn't a time that he couldn't listen to a car and, not know what was wrong with it. To ALL of his customers (past, present and future) THANK YOU! He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 3182, and the Brandywine Club in Claymont.
Dave also loved to fish and boat at his trailer in lower Delaware. Most of all he loved his family with his whole heart. All he used to say is "family is everything"
