Deanna Carol Westbrook

Deanna C. Westbrook of New Castle DE, formerly of Tyrone, PA, died on August 10, 2018 in New Castle, DE.

Deanna worked at the Howard Weston Senior Center and sat on the advisory board for many years.  She also worked at the Visiting Nurse Association of Delaware as a Home Health Aid.  After retirement, she was active in the Howard Weston Senior Center and enjoyed many trips with the center as well as outings with the Red Hat Society.  Deanna enjoyed sitting on her porch swing, reading novels, gardening, collecting wind chimes, music boxes, and Coca Cola memorabilia.

Deanna was predeceased by her parents, William and Anna Weaver; her brothers, Bill and Richard; her husband, Charlie Westbrook; and son, Ronald.

Deanna is survived by her children, Cathy, Susan and Chuck (Donna); grandchildren, Stacy (James), James, Stephen, Victoria, Charlie, Eric, Nicholas and Calli; great-grandchildren, Linnie, Charlie and Chris; her brother, Don (Jean); nephews, Rich (Debbie), Don (Amy) and Jason.  Dee and her cousin, Harleane grew up together and were lifelong friends.

A Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2pm at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE 19720.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Howard Weston Senior Center, 1 Bassett Ave, New Castle, DE, 19720.
