Elaine Carol Cameron Sell, age 79, of Wilmington, Delaware died peacefully on Sunday July 21st, 2024.
Elaine was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from Brandywine High School with the class of 1963. 

Her most recent employment history was at Genesis Healthcare as a collector on State Street, Kennett Square, PA. 
She had a love for nature, and was always out working in her flower gardens. She had the best green thumb in the family and taught the family how to properly care for plants. She loved to cook, loved her dogs, and most of all, loved spending time with her family. She would make sure all of her family was present for Sunday dinners. She absolutely loved going to Ocean City Maryland every summer with her family. Family and friends were everything to her.

Elaine was the daughter of late Martin “Knobby” Knowles and Jessie Knowles. She was predeceased by her first husband John “Punch” Cameron in 1991 and second husband Gary Sell in 2002. She is survived by her son John K Cameron Jr of Smyrna and Kathryn Cameron, daughter, Laura “Sissy” Cameron Sharp and her spouse Eric of Claymont, son, Thomas Cameron and his spouse Audrey of Claymont, and her baby Michael Cameron and Jeanette Cameron of Wilmington. She was also predeceased by her late brother Martin Knowles. She was survived by her sisters Pat Chester, Becky Knowles, and her baby brother, Thomas R. ”Snapper” Knowles and his wife Patti. Mom Mom is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and their partners whom she loved with all her heart. 

Funeral services will be held at Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 on Saturday July 27th, 2024. Viewing to begin at 11am and services to start at 12pm. Visitors may begin arriving at 11 am. Elaine’s celebration of life will be held at the Elks lodge, 1310 Carruthers Lane, Wilmington, DE 19803, following the service.  Burial will be private.
