Frederick "Pim" Schmid IV

On Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 Frederick “Pim” Schmid IV passed away at the age of 74. He passed away peacefully in his home in Claymont, DE with his wife Sharon and dog Frenchi by his side.

Pim has a sweet heart full of love to share with everyone, especially his best friend and dog, Frenchi. He had a passion for music and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was predeceased by his sons Frederick (PJ) Schmid V and Joshua Schmid, siblings, parents and in-laws. He is survived by his beloved wife and granddaughter Sharon Schmid and Zoey Rayne Schmid and many other loved family members.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 from 10:00am until 11:00am, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am.  Burial will be private.
